AKM’s International Plaza contains 79 luxury apartments in a new 28-story tower. The tightly composed brick facade utilizes custom sloping bricks and coursing patterns. Situated on a corner connecting a busy avenue with quieter Tudor City, the project’s public urban plaza buffers the residential entrance. On the avenue, a one-story base with retail maintains the streetwall. The residential lobby opens onto a private garden en route to the elevators. Apartments have nine-foot ceilings and corner living rooms , as well as dropped sills, which allow spectacular midtown views.
